About This Project

The Nutcracker Education Website was created by North Central Ballet as part of its Arts in Education Outreach Program.

For more than 30 years, North Central Ballet has shared the joy and discipline of classical ballet with thousands of students across North Texas. Through annual productions of The Nutcracker and year-round outreach, the company continues its mission to inspire a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.

This website was designed as a free classroom resource for educators and students to explore the story, music, and artistry of The Nutcracker — connecting what they learn in school to the excitement of a live ballet performance.
